SLIPKNOT - PSYCHOSOCIAL

Grup metal bertopeng Slipknot resmi mengumumkan perilisan album terbarunya. Band pememang Grammy itu akan
mulai memasarkan album yang mereka juluki All Hope Is Gone pada 26 Agustus 2008.
Sebagai pemanasan, single pertama Psychosocial sudah lebih dulu menjelajah lewat stasiun radio sejak 30 Juni 2008 dan tersedia secara online mulai awal Juli 2008. Guna mengantisipasi kondisi pasar band yang berisi sembilan personel itu menjalin kerjasama dengan AOL Music, perusahaan yang mengelola jalur musik secara online. Web musik yang banyak dikunjungi pecinta musik itu akan mendukung publikasi album termasuk menampilkan tampang topeng personel Slipknot.
Terakhir kali Slipknot merilis album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) tahun 2004. Album itu terjual lebih dari sejuta kopi di Amerika saja. Album All Hope is Gone yang akan dirilis melalui Roadrunner Records direkam bersama produser Dave Fortman di studio dekat tempat tinggal mereka di Des Moines, Iowa.
Dengan ciri musik metal yang dipadu dengan unsur perkusi dan permainan DJ Slipknot menjadi salah satu band yang mendapat banyak fans dari kaum muda. Band yang kini diperkuat Sid Wilson, Nathan Jordison, Paul Gray, Chris Fehn, James Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, dan Corey Taylor bahkan sukses meraih Grammy di tahun 2006 untuk kategori Best Metal Performance untuk track Before I Forget. Aksi ingar bingar musik dengan performa bertopeng di atas panggung menjadi salah satu yang ditunggu selain album baru mereka.

OFETH - PORCELAIN HEART

Watershed is the ninth full-length studio album by the Swedish progressive death metal band Opeth. The first single is "Porcelain Heart," which contains the tracks "Porcelain Heart" and "The Lotus Eater". The single was officially released to the public on April 19, 2008. The music video directed by Lasse Hoile (famous for his work for bands such as Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater and more recently The Pineapple Thief) that was shot for the track "Porcelain Heart" was made available from Roadrunner Records on April 24, 2008. As of May 26, 2008, the tracks 'The Lotus Eater' and 'Porcelain Heart' were made available to the public on Opeth's official MySpace page.

BLACK STONE CHERRY - BLIND MAN

"Blind Man" is a track written by the Kentucky-based Black Stone Cherry and the first single from their soon to be released album, Folklore And Superstition. The band released the new track on their MySpace June 18th, 2008 and the single was released on the iTunes Store on June 16th, 2008
